Management Accountant

About the position:

As one of two Management Accountants you’ll be charged with providing timely and well-structured financial information to Managers and colleagues, to ensure they have accurate information to manage. The budget projections and forecasts you provide will link closely with the Financial Planning team’s work, and the annual and long term budgeting processes.

On a monthly basis you’ll be processing journal entries and accruals, meeting with managers to go over financial information and issues, all the while making sure the information you’re providing is accurate.

About You:

Your key to success will be the ability to build and maintain relationships across the organisation. In addition we’re looking for someone with –

  • Experience as a Management Accountant
  • Up-to-date knowledge and experience in management accountant practices
  • Relevant qualifications – at least Accounting Technician membership of NZICA
  • Technically savvy to use financial and reporting systems
  • The ability to problem solve and ‘think outside the box’ to deliver great outcomes to our internal customers
